Bozcaada, Çanakkale - Turkey

1. I wanted to share with you our experience in Bozcaada, which we went to for our wedding anniversary. We planned a 2 Nights 3 Days weekend holiday.

1 day

• We set off at the end of work on Friday evening, arriving at the island around 21.30 after about a half-hour sailing on the Geyikli-Bozcaada ferry.

• First we settled in our hotel, then we quickly left our bags and went to the street where the taverns were located.

• We didn't have the idea to go to that restaurant, so we sat wherever was more fun and had an empty table :) Songs etc. It was a very fun street. We ate, drank and had fun, then walked to our hotel.

2 days

• First, we toured Bozcaada by car, passing through all the beaches and looking for a place for ourselves. Afterwards, we parked our car in Habbele Bay and went to look at the beach to sit on a beach. They said a figure of 500 TL per person, we said okay, let's give it, then they asked us for a reservation, of course we didn't have a reservation. We were a little hesitant, but then we left, we saw that there was a sheep right next to the beach, it was free. We immediately found a nice place and threw down our chairs. While those who swim by the beach had to swim in a limited area within the limits determined by the beach, we swam freely as much as we wanted :)

• After the sea, we returned to the center, drank our coffee in Çınaraltı, did some shopping and returned to the hotel to get ready.

• We made a reservation (barely) at "Vahitin Yeri" for dinner to celebrate our first anniversary. Vahitin Yeri has such a large appetizer cabinet that we were blown away :) the flavors were excellent. We asked interested people to give half a portion of it, etc. His directions were very good. We just didn't like our place very much :/ it was a corner table next to the children's playground, but since we made a late reservation, there was nothing to do. Anyway, we had a nice evening, but...

Before I forget... we took a taxi from the hotel to the restaurant for our drinks and returned by taxi. It was a very good decision.

3 days

Last day and returning from the island..

Be sure to make an online reservation for the ferry. Otherwise, you will have to wait in line in the car in the heat.
